Custom designed for the St. John Paul II Society, these weighty rosaries are handcrafted in Italy by the Ghirelli family, maker of Rosaries for Pope St. John Paul II during his pontificate.
Each Rosary contains a piece of cloth touched to the bloody sash worn by St. John Paul II during his attempted assassination and features medallions of Our Lady of Fatima, St. John Paul II, and the three seers of Fatima: St. Jacinta Marto, St. Francisco Marto, and Servant of God Lúcia Santos.
The Our Lady of Fatima medallion is a replica of the statue carved by Fr. Thomas McGlynn, O.P. that adorns the facade of the Fatima Shrine in Portugal. Another cast of this statue stands over the relics of St. John Paul II and St. Jacinta Marto and the Shrine of the St. John Paul II Society in Manhattan.
The crucifix is a replica of St. John Paul II’s famed crozier cross. The rosaries measure 25.5″ long and are sturdily handmade in Italy exclusively for monthly supporters of the St. John Paul II Society.
